So, here I am, sitting in my “office” (which, as is the case with many of you I’m sure, is a coffee shop with unlimited wifi).  I have spent the last while reflecting on the year that has passed.  It really was a good one, full of blessings and opportunities and wonderful people.  I thought I would try this crazy thing called the “Christmas Letter”… but since it’s now half-way through January, it’s more of a newsletter than anything.  If you want to read up on the highlights, just click on the link below!

And now, after all that reflection (and an amazing morning getting musically inspired by the song “Rivers and Roads” by The Head and The Heart), I am feeling rather energized to get this year rolling.  As of right now, I’m decided on a few 2014 projects:

1) To seriously get writing for a third album.  I’ve got a handful of songs, but I have a desire to really dig deep to come up with the best material I can before I launch into another recording process.  I look forward to keeping you updated as this gets going!

2) To plan another BC tour, this time focusing on Vancouver Island.  I wasn’t able to get to the Island in the fall, and I am looking forward to getting out there shortly after Easter this year!  If you’d like to get in on this goodness (and probably hear some brand new material) head over to the Shows page and fill out the booking form.

3) To take up kickboxing.  Because giving boxing gloves to a feisty redhead is always a good idea, right??  😀

So, those are the projects thus far.  Keep an eye on this site for more info, concert dates, and general merriment.  God bless you as you begin this new year!
