Sorry things have been so quiet around here since spring tour out in Alberta and Saskatchewan… It took a good couple weeks to settle back into home life and catch my breath after nearly a month on the road with the fantastic Kelti Malone, but it’s time to gear things back up!  My summer is full of exciting things like taking my youth group to Texas, doing Vacation Bible Schools at three different churches, moving to a new apartment (DIYing as much free furniture as I can in the process), and booking up tour plans for this coming fall.  And if you are in BC or Ontario, I might just be hitting up your area!

Kelti and I are going to join forces again, for a 7-10 day September stint in BC and a few weeks in Ontario late October/early November.  If you are interested in booking us, please let me know and we’ll work it out!   Requests are already coming in, so don’t wait too long!

We’re still working out exact timing for those tours because I just got some exciting news… my second album, “Permission to be Broken” was nominated for the Western Canadian Music Awards in the Spiritual Recording of the Year category!  I am SO EXCITED about my first WCMA nom, and am honoured to be included among the category’s other nominees – Steve Bell, High Valley, Cities Under Fire, and Transit. Glad to be bringin’ some female energy to the category, haha!!  The WCMAs will be handed out in Calgary on October 6, and the BreakOut West festival and music conference leading up to the awards starts October 3, so I definitely plan to be in Cowtown for all the fun surrounding that.  Thanks everybody for all the love and support surrounding the nomination!
